Ticket photo precautions: what details need to remain private?
If you need to ask for an explanation about the lottery ticket, it is not necessary to publish the entire ticket photo. Keep the original private and make a separate shareable copy. The goal is to display the rule question without revealing personal or machine-readable details.

Which detail is required for the question?
| Detail | In private original | In the public explanatory copy |
|---|---|---|
| Game and entry type | Keep intact | Can be presented if needed in the rule question. |
| Draw/date/session | Keep intact | Give only what is needed. |
| Barcode/QR/serial/reference | Keep it private | Cover completely; don’t just partial blur. |
| Account/contact/payment data | Keep it private | Remove from shareable copy. |
Do not edit the only original
Save an original file to a private location first. In duplicate, use solid redaction for sensitive fields, then export a flattened image. Open the exported copy and check the corners, reflected screen and filename. Do not include other tickets in the background of the photo.

Less data is needed for mechanics
For example, ordered versus unordered matching can be asked using the fiction 0-2-7 and 2-7-0. No actual serial or account needed to explain the difference. The Game Manual the rule reference; the official archive the historical result source, not a public ticket authentication tool.
A question about a shared jackpot pool and per-entry share can be explained with hypothetical amounts without exposing a ticket image.
Separate the explanation from the claim
The redacted photo is for limited discussion. Do not consider this a complete claim submission or proof of ownership. For any actual claim, follow the current documented official process and keep the original. This worksheet does not ask for or accept ticket details.
